This past weekend we went to Kristin’s friend’s wedding in Milwaukee and left Braden with Kristin’s parents overnight. That meant we were both free for the first time, though Kristin still had to get up in the middle of the night to pump. Still, it was nice to get a full-night’s rest.

We celebrated our sixth anniversary on Sunday. It was a year ago that we began telling people we were pregnant. What a difference a year makes!
We had dinner at the Tornado Steakhouse this year. Braden fussed most of the time as he usually does when we go out to eat, so he had to sit in our laps once again.

We took Braden to Art Fair on the Square twice over the weekend (all three of us went Saturday morning before we left for the wedding, and just Brian and Braden on Sunday while Kristin worked). He slept the second time.
More details to come! The time now is 3:30 p.m. Monday.
We’re about one week away from the expected due date of Feb. 4, but the baby could arrive any time between now and then (hopefully not after). Kristin has two days of work left (today and Tuesday) and wants the baby out sooner rather than later.
It’s interesting to live day-to-day. We usually like things planned out ahead of time (especially Brian), but we try to avoid making plans too far out, just in case the baby comes. For instance, several colleagues in the PR industry and others have expressed interest in having lunch or coffee with Brian, but he doesn’t finalize anything until 1-2 days prior.
Also, we’re wondering if we go out somewhere, will Kristin’s water break? We’ve been at various restaurants and stores lately thinking that. Oops! Sorry Wal-Mart.
